London hospitality staffing

The right people,
on time, in the
right uniform.

Element Staffing supplies vetted waiting staff, bar staff and event supervisors to events across London. Our staff are employed by us on PAYE, interviewed in person, and briefed before they walk through your door.

We supply people, not food. Element Staffing is a staffing business — we do not cater, plan or hire equipment.

What we supply

Three roles, done properly.

We would rather cover a short list well than a long list badly. Each role is a separate bench, vetted for that job.

Waiting staff

Service at table, canapés and drinks on trays, clearing and resetting. The role most bookings are built around.

Bar staff & mixologists

Bar setup and service, wine and beer, cocktails to a list or built to spec. Trained, not improvised.

Chefs and kitchen porters are a separate supply pool with their own vetting. Ask us before you assume availability.

Why it holds up

Every agency says "vetted". Here is ours, written down.

It is the default claim of the category, which makes it worth nothing on its own. So we have turned it into a process you can check us against.

The full vetting process
  1. 01 Application and screening
  2. 02 Interview, in person
  3. 03 Right to work, documented
  4. 04 A paid trial shift
  5. 05 The presentation standard
  6. 06 Briefed before every assignment

The bit venues care about

Our staff are employed. Not "self-employed".

Most London hospitality agencies run a self-employed contractor model, and the hirer carries a share of the risk when that turns out to be wrong. We pay our staff through PAYE, with tax and National Insurance deducted at source, holiday pay accrued, and right-to-work checks on file for everyone.

It costs us more. It is also the single most boring, most valuable thing about us, and it is why a procurement contact can sign us off in an afternoon.

Insurance & compliance

The no-show guarantee

The thing you are actually afraid of is booking eight people and seven turning up. So we will say it plainly: if someone we have booked does not arrive, we replace them or you do not pay for that shift. No argument, no invoice, no negotiation after the fact.

Who you are actually dealing with

We are new. We are not pretending otherwise, and we are not going to show you a stock photograph of somebody else's waiters and call it a portfolio. What we can offer instead is accountability: you get a mobile number that belongs to the person who runs this business, and on early bookings that person is on site.
